I am so thankful that you are considering me to photograph your family. The overlooked, in between moments are what make up who you are as a family, and it is my aim to preserve these for generations to come.
How long will my session last?
Your session will be as long as your family needs. If you have small children, they often need time to warm up to me and the camera and not feel rushed. Taking the time they need leads genuine interaction. With this in mind, most sessions last between 45 minutes- 1 hr 1/2
Location
Now that you have a timeframe pinned down, it’s time to discuss location! What type of location speaks to you? Is that the simple backdrop of a studio that lets your family shine? Is that wandering through a flower field or a forest to connect you with nature? Or is that the comfort of your own home where you raise your babies? The location you choose should speak to your soul and I’ve already done the ground work to help your decision:
Styling
Figuring out what to wear for a session can be so stressful. What colors and textures go well together? What looks good on my body? What should my kids wear? Well, I am here take away all of that stress. You have access to my client closet with over 50 dresses for moms and outfits for littles and my styling guide, as well as a complimentary style consult at my home office in Monroe. This allows you to try on outfits and feel confident going into your session. If you would prefer to use your own clothes I am always available for styling help over the phone!
What is included?
Your session includes 15 hand edited images, a personalized session planning, location expertise, access to my client closet of 40+ dresses for mom, sizes S-XL, a large collection of children’s clothes, access to my style guide, and up to 45 minutes travel from Monroe, NC. Over 45 minutes - 1 hr 1/2 from Monroe is a flat travel fee of $50.
Session fee/Timeline
Session fee : $500
A nonrefundable retainer of $200 is due at the time of booking which reserves your date and time on my calendar. The remaining balance is due on the date of the session, and you will receive your fully edited gallery in your inbox within 3 1/2 weeks.
Here comes the fun part! Once you review your gallery you get to pick your favorite 10 complimentary images or upgrade to the full gallery for $350. If you would like to purchase individual images each digital file is $30. You will also be able to order heirloom prints straight from your gallery!
Extended Family Sessions incur an additional $100 charge.
